IBSS Attends Biden-⁠Harris Administration Workshop on Good-Paying Jobs for Veterans and Military Spouses

On July 31, IBSS team members joined other participants at the White House for a workshop on providing good-paying jobs for veterans and military spouses.

IBSS, a Maryland-based women-owned small business and Certified B Corporation, is committed to building and growing a skills-based cyber workforce consisting of professionals from varied backgrounds who have the expertise to assist organizations to meet their cybersecurity challenges. IBSS established its Cybersecurity Apprenticeship Program in November 2020 to provide opportunities to under-resourced communities and has 24 graduates to date. The apprenticeship program includes a hands-on job training lab that facilitates in-demand skills. The program will expand opportunities for veterans associated with the DoD SkillBridge Program for up to 10 people by the end of 2025. Read the full press release.
