- IBSS provides analytics for diverse data types, leveraging AI/ML techniques to safeguard and process IT, cybersecurity, weather, satellite, and fisheries data. At DoDEA, we optimized data collection/ ingest using Microsoft Sentinel. Our approach removed duplicate/superfluous data types to reduce technical overhead. This led to ~$2.55M savings in annual processing costs.
- For National Ocean Service, IBSS has been described as a “code innovation leader” for providing software and data analytics to maintain CO-OPS’ integrated oceanographic and observing systems. We built an automated tool to review data in real time reducing a 70-hour task to 2 hours. Another solution allowed CO-OPS to analyze data across 210 stations simultaneously – reducing a 16-hour process to only 40 minutes.
- To deploy the Atlas 15 framework, IBSS assessed 650 datasets according to strict data quality criteria. We eventually identified 70 datasets and used AI/ML capabilities to vet and reformat those datasets to conform to NARA and related data standards.
