IBSS will replace the current proprietary software receiving and decoding/encoding satellite signals for NWS GOES-R Rebroadcast (GRB) and HimawariCast 8 Rebroadcast (H8RB) that provide real-time broadcasts of weather instrument data with the open source University of Wisconsin’s CSPP-Geo.
IBSS will provide graphics, video, and technical communication services for stakeholder communication and outreach efforts.
Team IBSS will contribute to NOAA’s mission using cost-effective “nextgen” technologies with real-time, high-quality data to help manage sustainable fish populations, protected species, and habitats through four service areas.
IBSS’ SharePoint (SP) subject matter expert will analyze organizational business processes to assess its integration with technology.
