Silver Spring, MD August 2020:
IBSS was awarded a Task Order with the NOAA Northwest Fisheries Science Center (NWFSC) to provide scientific and technical services to the Science Directorate Division
The research conducted by NWFSC is used to support, protect, and maintain ecosystems in the eastern Pacific Ocean off the West Coast, as well as the freshwater rivers of Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.
IBSS will provide the following services to support NWFSC’s mission:
- Scientific/Technical Editing Support
- Automated underwater vehicle (AUV) Image Analysis of invertebrates and fishes
- Deep Sea Coral and Sponge Research Support
- Science Synthesis & Coordination Program Vision Implementation
