IBSS Awarded Task to Provide Scientific and Technical Services to the NOAA Fisheries Northwest Fisheries Science Center

Silver Spring, MD August 2020:

IBSS was awarded a Task Order with the NOAA Northwest Fisheries Science Center (NWFSC) to provide scientific and technical services to the Science Directorate Division. The research conducted by NWFSC is used to support, protect, and maintain ecosystems in the eastern Pacific Ocean off the West Coast, as well as the freshwater rivers of Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.

IBSS will provide the following services to support NWFSC’s mission:

  • Scientific/Technical Editing
  • Support Automated underwater vehicle (AUV) Image Analysis of invertebrates and fishes
  • Deep Sea Coral and Sponge Research Support Science Synthesis & Coordination
  • Program Vision Implementation

As a trusted NOAA partner for more than 20 years, IBSS looks forward to continuing our ongoing service to NOAA Fisheries while supporting our goal of providing “tech for science.”
