IBSS’ solution has become a mission-critical element to NOAA operations by delivering 99% availability to 25,000 users at 50% of the legacy cost. Fully compliant with OMB, HSPD-12, and CDM requirements, our design helped NOAA pass the Federal Public Key Infrastructure Policy Authority Audit with 100% compliance over 111 requirements. When the DOC announced its intention to replace enterprise legacy credentialing systems with a single, robust, and scalable solution for all Line Offices nationwide, NOAA endorsed our design. Prioritizing long-term functionality, we implemented IaaS, SaaS, PaaS, and Cloud Security elements to safeguard DOC’s dozens of mission-critical applications. In 2021, during mandated, enterprise-wide COVID-19 vaccination efforts, we deployed the DOC’s first full single-sign-on solution to the DOC’s Commerce Connect platform. Working toward a Federal deadline, IBSS implemented a quality design and go-live event monitoring to ensure time-sensitive, secure, and compliant handling of critical documentation for 85,000 users.

Zero Trust is a strategic cybersecurity framework that continuously verifies every access request, limits internal movement, and assumes breach as a starting point. In this blog, IBSS breaks down what Zero Trust really means and why it’s essential in 2025.
