As a trusted NOAA partner for over 20 years, IBSS looks forward to our continued delivery of innovative science-meets-technology solutions that forward the NOAA mission and make NOAA’s science matter to constituents both at home and abroad.
Celebrating 30×30
All donations go directly to scholarship recipients who are looking to gain an education in a STEM field, as IBSS is passionate about encouraging students in these areas.
National Weather Service (NWS) — NWSChat Modernization
The modernized NWSChat solution replaced the NCO’s dependence on external weather data sources with improved infrastructure, monitoring, and support capabilities. This removed NCO’s reliance on external sources for improved infrastructure, monitoring, and support.
IBSS Awarded GSA HACS
The HACS SIN was designed specifically to help Federal agencies acquire pre-qualified cybersecurity services rapidly and efficiently in response to current and emerging IT security challenges to their High Value Assets (HVA).
IBSS Wins Department of Commerce (DOC) and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) ICAM Awards
When the DOC announced its intention to replace enterprise legacy credentialing systems with a single, robust, and scalable solution for all Line Offices nationwide, NOAA endorsed our design.
IBSS Awarded Task to Provide Budget and Administrative Support Services to NOAA Fisheries
IBSS’s support will help PRD plan, budget, and manage species recovery projects, critical habitat designations, and other conservation and management activities that promote healthy and sustainable living marine resource populations endemic to the region.
IBSS Awarded Task to Provide FOIA Support Services for OMI, WCR NMFS
Our work contributes directly to NOAA’s accountability, transparency, and the workable balance between the right of the public to know and the need of the government to protect certain information.
IBSS Awarded Task to Provide Shark Tagging Services to NOAA Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center
This tagging project is part of a larger effort with the major research objectives of elucidating shark affiliation, continuous residence times, and vertical migration behavior around anchored FADs as a means of identifying potential spatial bycatch mitigation strategies for commercial fisheries using FADs and to obtain a better understanding of the habitat use, ecology, and areas of biological significance of sharks around Hawaii.
IBSS to Provide Pacific Islands Region Observer Program (PIROP) Debriefer Services under ProTech
The data IBSS’ debriefers help verify is used by NOAA’s Fisheries Service, the Hawaii Longline Association, the Western Pacific Fisheries Management Council, academia, non-government entities, and global partners to monitor fish stocks, safeguard protected and endangered species, and ensure that the Hawaii commercial longline fleet remains one of the most sustainable fisheries in the nation.
