IBSS Awarded NOAA Northeast Fisheries Science Center Task to Serve the Operations, Management, and Information Division

Silver Spring, MD July 2020:

IBSS was awarded a Task Order with NOAA Northeast Fisheries Science Center to provide a variety of support services to the Operations, Management, and Information Division (OMI).

IBSS will provide the following support services:

Research CommunicationsAquarium (Woods Hole Science Aquarium)Budget and ExecutionManagementAcademic ProgramsOffshore Wind Energy TeamVessel Operations

OMI is responsible for many of the back-office functions that keep NEFSC operating smoothly. These operations range from budget and finance functions to overseeing the operations of the Woods Hole Science Aquarium and the Research Vessel Gloria Michelle.

Through the Task Order, IBSS will also support the Academic Programs Office (APO) with academic programs and providing research training to students.

As a trusted NOAA partner for more than 20 years, IBSS looks forward to continuing our ongoing service to NOAA Fisheries while supporting IBSS’s corporate strategic goal of providing “tech for science”.
